"Reckless Dynasty" by Tracy Lorraine is the third and last book in Toby and Jodie's story. What can I tell you that you yet don't know? I suppose that many of you have already read the culprit in their story and I also suppose that your faces were exactly like mine. Full of extremely delirious happiness, jajaja. The author just did it one more time. Her manner of writing and telling the stories is capturing and most important, each couple is utterly different from each other. Tracy is capable of creating this whole world, but inside it divides everyone, builds their characters and not less important, evolves the storyline.

At first, I surely liked Toby and Jodie's stories but as you could check on my previous reviews they weren't a favourite for me, couple. You would ask me why. Well, at the beginning I struggled a lot with Jodie's character and behaviour, because at times it was too much. But as you also could check, I understood her way of thoughts and it was completely normal to feel overwhelmed in the mafia world since she was dropped without any clues. My problem with Jodie was that, in ways she was very sensitive but in the end, this was part of her strength and what made her who she is.

To start with my opinion about "Reckless Dynasty" , what I can only tell you is that it was brilliantly written and developed, there was action and some triggering moments such as abuse and violence. What I like in Tracy's writing is also that she doesn't hide and it is very explicit when describing situations. She does it in a way that captures the reader's attention, making us want more, turning the next and next page until we finally finish the book.

The waiting for the last bit was more than worth it! I just couldn't not enjoy their story. Toby once more demonstrated that he's the good guy in comparison with the others, but also having his dark side. And what a dark side, please! He could be perfectly named as a hero not forgetting that he made mistakes and had to learn from them and ask for forgiveness. What I loved reading about in the books is that the characters developed in all the possible ways. The author narrated about their traumas and what was better was that they found their path to fight and beat them. The story concluded as how it had to be. We witnessed struggle, indecisions, fight and loss, but coming to the very end we had this final that it was worth it.

If I had to compare this couple to the others I couldn’t do it, because all them are very different and unique in ways that they make the readers feel all their problems, emotions and feelings. I lived through their story and needed to get to the end expecting something beautiful with an end that concludes everything just masterly. Tracy did it! The books were wrecking and heartbreaking, sensual and dark. The level of darkness wasn’t the same as in the other books, but anyway, there it was. And, please, let me correct myself. We can find the darkness in waves, but the author just narrated about a different one. When we are accustomed to dark romance we usually witness and connect it to actions and way of living, moving, sharing. We also see it in old traumas or bullying, so our minds just switch that way and expect something similar. Well, let me tell you, that in Toby and Jodie’s story we saw a lot of darkness which was based in traumas and the kind of love with a little bit of kinks.

I enjoyed very much the books and as always recommend you this author. Few months ago she was such a surprise for me, but since then I’m one of her loyal followers. Her stories are spicy, kinky, full of hilarious moments that make me laugh loud but also suffer with the characters, because Tracy is capable of touching the accords of my heart and when that is done, it means that the book is good.
